And an interesting hypothesis: "the root of all conflicts comes down to ego". However, I tend to believe, that it depends on the flexibility of the definition of "ego". The rebellion in '56 against the communist regime of Hungary probably rooted in quite another "ego", than the conflicts between Microsoft and Apple, or the one between Mr and Mrs Berlusconi. Moreover, as individuals we can't give up our ego without loosing our identity. Which is hardly a road we want to go.
